Teresa Schumaker

I have participated in the Winona Art Walk for the past seven years. I am so happy to be part of our first Virtual Winona Art Walk! We are all adjusting to this new way of doing things, missing the social aspect of visiting with people, and figuring out ways to connect.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a native Winonan who followed a passion for pottery from here to Ohio, then off to Montana and back again. I moved back with a husband and the first of our four children. Winona is a great place to raise children! Having an Art Concentration with an Elementary Education degree, I taught second and third grade for the WACS school system for 25 years. Our children flew the coop and Bill and I found ourselves back where we started, doing woodworking and pottery. If you would like any more information on my work, please visit my website: schumakerpottery.com.
